Since joining LFSH in 1996, Dr. Anwar Ali Bakhurji has acted a General Legal Counsel specialising in commercial litigation and arbitration.

Prior to joining LFSH, Dr. Anwar worked as an Inspector at the Saudi Ministry of Labour. This experience has enabled him to develop a very successful practice in the field of employment-related disputes.

Dr. Anwar’s LL.M. disseration was on “The role of the authority having original jurisdiction to hear arbitration disputes”. He later completed his doctoral thesis on “The role of judicial control in arbitration”.
